About us

Seabird Software was founded in 2000, with the goal to build versatile database tools for database administrators and developers. The founders of Seabird Software, Régis and Leigh Ann Charlot, have extensive experience in database development and administration, and understand the complexities of today's proliferating database applications. Because of that, Seabird is committed to building tools that are affordable, simple and easy to use, yet powerful in their cross-database capabilities.

The centerpiece of our product family is dbAnalyst, which was introduced in January of 2002 at our website. Since then, we have more than 1600 registered users, and more than 22,000 people worldwide have downloaded the tool. We took the feedback that our users provided and used it to make dbAnalyst even more powerful and versatile. Our second product, dbFactory, was introduced in 2003, and complements the capabilities of dbAnalyst. Seabird will continue to enhance this suite of database tools to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
